Concrete!

Its taken quite a while, but the stars aligned and cement started flowing yesterday.  The first of two pours, they tackled the fire pit area, a few stairs and a portion of the entry way.  Its looking good, but still a bit to go.

Outside... Finishing Touches

After enjoying the house most of the summer, a glaring unfinished project stood out. The outside of the house was dirty, and the path to the beach was slippery and unsafe.  We needed a safe, and clean path to the beach from the upper side of the house.
It was time to build stairs.
We also needed a front patio that was more than just dirt.
We needed a front entry way.

While we were at it, we decided to relocate the fire pit and make it a bit more stable.

So the project has begun...
